my only question is

how strong is a pipe of silicone? can it handle the weight of a vstack and filter without losing its shape???

It GENERALLY can depending on the thickness.

Longer the silicone piece, the chances of deforming go up.

the Nordskog gauges offered on their website look pretty simple and clean. anyone have any pics of them installed on/in a 'Teg?
