Default battle of the imports ..the honda on slicks

this was only my second time at the track with this car since ive had my mustang and my very first time on slicks...how'd i do? or

the car is 92 hatch

LS/VTEC motor
11:1 compression
Edelbrock Victor-x
Skunk2 Exhaust
DC 4-2-1 header
Hi Flow Cat

on 22" slicks i pulled a 13.833 as my best run cutting a 1.8xx 60' and that was letting off at the end since we were bracket racing and i dialed in at a 14 flat. im pretty sure if i would have kept my foot in it, i would have pulled a 13.7 or under.

Pulling 1.860ft, 13.8@97mph there is no way you let off before the traps. When you let off your mph drops like a rock and yours are spot on for the time.

hmm i let off at the very end, it might have clocked me right before i did. i trapped a couple mid 98's earlier that day so i dunno if it was enough to just drop 1mph at the very end or if it didnt affect me at all.

who knows.

We'll get it lower just a little more seat time

mph is averaged over the final portion of the race... you'll notice there's two sets of timing lights at the end of the track. You may indeed have had a faster mph if you passed the first but let off towards the final portion of the 66' before the end of the track.
