those things dont have much sidewall but what r u launching at?? those things for having no sidewall grip like mad. id try a super high launch, who knows u might get a nice surprise.
yea dude you were right, i got a swet launch then bogged, the track was STICKY, i launched off the limiter one time and like a 6500 launch one time. im just happy to break 14.80's
Yea "Timmay" is a very cool guy, and also had a good run. I on the other hand did horrible, my best was a 14.3 @ 100 oh well with radials and new piping i'm looking mid to low 13's. Nice Job anyways man
at this point u might want some weight reduction. if u launched off the limiter and then bogged id say ur car weighs too much and the engine cant pull it properly outta the hole. the other option is to step up to a motor with more torque. just a thought, i know money doesnt grow on trees but it would sure help alot at this point.
That's not that bad. I ran a 14.78@ 93mph pulling a 2.0 60' on Azenis @ 20psi and that was in a 99si w/ stock clutch, bolt-ons and mild weight reduciton. You should be able to cut some 1.8-1.9's with those slicks. Keep at it man.
Good job man. Are they letting people run slicks at that street legal night at Firebird? I would love to run slicks at nice and late at night when its cold out. I want to break 13s this year. I can usually hit 1.9s and some 1.8s with my MT 20x8x14s there. I have an MSD dual stage rev limiter though.

with those slicks i ran a 13.80's at 15psi launching at 5-500 rpm and broke a 1.9 60ft i think you can do better then a 2.0 60ft just a lil more practice then you can get it..by the way i have a b18a non vtec though and here is my time slip with those 20x8x14's..

glad I din't drive 2.5 hours for 2 runs. I thought people would be getting a ton of runs. Figures though. They never give the compacts any runs now. When I first started going to Firedbird I'd get 8-12 runs a day. Now it's 2 runs and then brackets start. Pisses me off.
