yea i would go comptech also, but cant u just buy some short headers then, punchout ur cat on the stock system, because the down pipe is 3in, and i think that if u just punch out the cat and run a shorty header it might be good also, because its 4-1... but i dont know i was just wondering if n e one has tried that

best bang for your buck would be the DCRH, that's what i'm running, gives you pretty good gains

DCRH...

Don't you have to replace the front lower sway bar when using the Comptech header?

I would save some money and get the Megan header / test pipe combo. Good gains, good quality, cheap, and you can swap out the test pipe back for the cat in minutes if you ever need to.

There is a magic line at the bathroom door, and once you cross that line, you are in another universe. You can stick a trumpet in your ***, and blast the loudest fart in recorded history. You can stand on the back of the toilet, and take a **** 5 feet up in the air. You can stand in the opposite corner, and pee into the bath tub.

hey r u going to the meet this sat ?

Buddy club is best in that range.
Otherwise DCRH.

As much as nobody wants to admit it, the comptech is in the same range as the dcrh for power gains.
Not worth extra cash.
Do a search on buddyclub, or just go with dcrh mild steel w/ceramic coating.
Save your money for another mod that way.

dcrh is the best bang for the buck. perfect fitment, clears front sway bar, gives really good gains. you wont be as satisfied w/ the shorty header/testpipe combo.

Since you are worried about cops in your area. I would suggest a CAI and reflash. A standard header isnt even worth the money honestly. Comptech and BCRH are great but if you are worried about being legal, then those are not an option. I live in Cali as well and emissions her suck Some areas dont even have to get smogged!!!!!!
