Default Which cams for my setup

I am currently in the process of re-building my GSR.. So far I have ITR rods and CTR pistons.. At first I was afraid of the pistons cuz all I ever heard about them were negative. Sayin cuz they were cast aluminum they were weak and blah blah blah.. But after seeing jeff evan tune so many cars with em I figured whatever just try em out. I read a post stating they are safe as long as you run a big lobe cam to avoid pinging.. what cam would you recomend? Currently I have ITR cams but I am gonna sell em and get bigger...thanks for the input and advice

I was considering Skunk 2 stage 3 , Skunk 2 Pro Series stage 2, Buddy Club 3 or 4.. or what do you guys think.. I see a lot of Skunk 2 Stage 2 cams for sale.. would these be good? Or should I get bigger...

P.S. I am gonna be running a stock headgasket or a cometic one a lil bigger then stock.. also standard compression valves not flat bottoms.. and would be running on pump gas.. thanks!!!!!

You do realize your compression will now be around 13:1 right? Pretty sure you can't run pump gas. Maybe if you pull some timing but I don't know...

13:1??? you sure about that? I highly doubt it. 12.7 highest i think.. I will be running standard compression valves (dish) not flat bottoms and a lil thicker then oem cometic head gasket with ITR rods and GSR crank in a gsr with b16 head... I was thinking it would be around in between 12:1-12:5 give or take.. I believe it is possible on pump because I have seen many dyno graphs on evans tuning website and all tuned on pump.. I just wanted to get a good size cam..

My son just installed BC 4 in his b16 with CTR
pistons and it runs great. He also has a
skunk 2 complete valve train.

lol I don't know bout you guys, but I'm still getting 13.09:1. Its a straight GSR (B18C1 block and head) GSR crank with ITR rods (same as B18C1) and PCT (CTR) pistons you said right? Came out to 13:09
