Default Moon Roof??

I was thinking about installing a moonroof in my car 95 hatch. I just really like them in the daytime when its sunny out, it makes a world of differnce, i think.
Would it be worth it?
Is it hard to put in?
I hear they leak if you put them in yourself?

Thanks everyone, Happy Holidays!!!

it'd be a lot of work and still wouldn't be like if it was from the factory.

Yes i do agree with you, i love the lighting in brings to the interior....you gotta drive a car with one to understand.

you should really look into getting a shell that already has a sunroof in it, would be a lot easier.

Or you could cut out the roof skin from a moonroof one and weld it onto yours, but then u gotta do all the wiring

What about a manual sunroof? would that be difficult? one that just pops up?

Thanks for everyones help.
Some place buy my house said they put a universal one in for like 200 bucks.
This cars deffinently not a show car or close to so i think i might concider.
It would be better then cutting a hole in my roof an not knowing what to do? ha...that would suck

i put an aftermarket sunroof in b4.. just pulled out a grinder and cut basicly.. (traced an outline of the manual roof).. it was in a 4 dr and i believe i cut a support for the roof,, since the roof is really just a piece of sheet metal welded to a brace-bar.. it was free for me and i didnt care bout the car since i sold it in any event.. i wouldnt recommend doing it to a car u like... putting asi oem roof in is also alot of trouble since it is screwed in and ur car mite not have the mounting points so those might have to be welded in, only way to findout is take out your head liner

I love my sunroof; it really makes your interior a lot better. I wouldn't recommend getting an 'aftermarket' one put in; the last thing you would want is leaks.
