New Member and ive been looking/searching for the past 5 days :D
Hi guys:
Well I'm from Evom, but don't own an Evo or base Lancer, just on there for kicks. Anyways I've been contemplating starting a new project for myself and have found it in myself to do a DC2 JDM project. My budget is going to be around 15K and I'm looking to have a decent daily driver/autoX car. I've put together a list of parts that I could see myself buying in a couple of months to attain perfection. I'm trying to balance my parts, so feel free to comment on them! I however did not find when am I supposed to upgrade my axles on my Integra? That would be awesome if someone could tell me. As for the list of the parts here it goes:

Again..I'm not trying to come up here and brag, I'm looking for decent comments about what I've chosen and what I should change or not. I've been browsing for the past 5 days and seen some people that know their **** so if you wanna comment on it, please. Thanks guys! Nice site going on.

First off, welcome to H-T. With that said, before you get flamed, the type R engine code is B15C5, B18C1 is the GSR, not a big deal, but some people freak out, also, rota's are frowned upon by some, but its up to you, so dont worry about it.
As for your parts list, thats alot of fancy names, but your missing some (IMO Obvious) things.
under the engine/electronics, you dont have cams listed? do you plan to run stock cams? if thats the case, dont bother getting a 3 Bar map sensor, cause u wont be runnin that much boost. Also, not only are you missing cams, but you dont have any valve train mods what so ever.
I also think, that for autox you would want to get a bigger brake kit. Unless by brembo, you ment the DC5 brembo conversion.
Lastly, I dont think that your budget will cover everything. B18c5 is about 5K on its own, JDM front is about another 2k for a decent one, thats half the budget on motor and front end alone. Skunk coilovers will run you atleast 800, and the N1 exhaust, if its cat back, is about another 1K, keep in mind, if you get a JDM motor, it will most likly have a JDM header, which is longer the the USDM one, so you will need to run a diffrent cat/test pipe. I also noticed you didnt have tires listed. the rotas are about 500$, and to get any kind of decent rubber for autox will also be about another 500+. I'm not trying to hate, but I think you need to re-budget or revise your list. Also, the 'type Rx' pedals arent rare, JDMLand has about 200 sets ready to ship..and I know you been surfin their site
Anyways... to end my rant, I think your project has potential, you just need a lil guidence.

PWJDM front clips are very expenive to ship. their oversized shipping chart is bullshit. I bought their SIR-G fenders with the sidemarkers and pigtails, and it was 200$ for shipping. theres also a bunch of little things that always add up. I'm not tring to discourage the build, just tryin to help. I'm not sure how much you know about the JDM front, or honda's in general, but, for the conversion, you need to swap out the rad support, so you MAY need a welder, some people bolt them on, which I dont think is a good idea. Also, you arent guaranteed a colour on the front end, you may get a white, black or red one. Either way, you will need to have it painted, which all costs money. and all those valve train components are pretty pricey. And you listed parts suggesting you want to boost, but you havent listed a turbo or S/C, so, whats the deal?
Any 3" exhaust will work... you could go to your local muffler shop and have them fab you one...i personally went with Thermal R&D
for a turbo motor you're going to want low compression. if upgrading to forged internals, go with cp or wiseco pistons in 9:1 and eagle rods, unless you want to make lots of power then upgrade to pauter or manley rods. those cams you listed are more for all motor setups. stock itr cams do very well with boost so stick with those. for exhaust go with a custom 3'' setup. also you didnt mention what size turbo you'll be getting with that kit.

Oh, then I will take their shipping costs and b.s into consideration. I've been around some S15 front end conversions but I haven't really seen any Honda conversion or Honda stuff in general. The welding is no problem and installing the parts is also an "a ok" I planned on getting a beat up LS Integra and wanted to do the front end conversion right away so once it was on and up and finished I would go get it painted the dark black like I mentioned. Valve train components will come under 2K and yes it is adding up. Though, 15K isn't like a stopping point if I'm not happy (or finished), I'll just wait and overtime I will buy more parts for it. No problem with that.
I did say I want to boost and I showed you a peakboost top mount turbokit, I didn't put it in what type of turbo I was going to run but I was originally thinking of getting a T3/to4E with the supporting components.
Turbotony: I'll look into some 3'' exhausts and into some shops around here
JDM: I originally put up Lambo black..just didn't feel like writing it all out
thanks though
dood: thanks for the info...im going to write that down and look into them

supertech valvetrain does the job without the pricetag of toda and stick with the oem timing belt
any other boost related questions you have, head over to the forced induction forum and read the faqs and numerous build up threads in there.

looks like someone is illiterate and can't read my last line. I have no purpose to come up here and boast and brag about what my project consists of. Thats fine if you think I'm here to brag..but this is just a forum that I look to get info from not to make friends or "brag"
I'll look into it mintgrn4dr, thanks man!
