Was wondering if anyone know what a dealer might charge to put a car starter in a 2002 CRV. I would like to go to my own shop but i was thinking that if the car is still under warrenty that it would void it out ????

If you are referring to having a remote starter installed... it will not void your warranty if installed by someone other than a dealership.

 

If it's under warranty yes DO take it to the dealer.
That starter is a PAIN to replace. you have to remove part of the intake manifold to get to it
