Yes ... and your cylinder walls will be very thin, even on aftermarket sleeves they will be almost maxed out.

On the 2.2 stroker ... the bore & stroke will be increased. The largest stroker kit available on stock bore is around 1.975 litre.

2.2L is a 86mm bore and 95mm stroke (vs 87.2mm stock stroke). Thats the most you can go and most people that go with a 95mm stroke do so on a tall block (dart block or add a deck plate). If you want more displacement then 2.2L, get a different motor.

scat and eagle have 98mm cranks and 100 mm can be found if you search a little. Id recommend the 98 myself with the pins moved up and longer rods. Ive also seen the 93s work out well with stock bore.
