Pro level all-motor cars displacement?
this is kind of an unusual question, but does anyone know who is running the smallest displacement pro all-motor car that is in the 9 second range, or even low 10? And who is running the largest competitive motor? I am trying to get an idea what is the minimum displacement to be competitive in these classes. Also, I know a few years ago the max. allowable displacement was around 2700-2800cc, does anyone know what is the max. allowable currently?

max is 2.6l regarless of what motor ur running. As for the smallest i know Eric ran a 2.2l and i have been running a 2.3l and these are B motors. As far as largest i would have to guess that the top teams are at least running 2.5l could be wrong though. I'm not too sure about the toyotas. I have ran a 10.57 or 10.59 with a 2.0L .
So Bisi, were you ever in the 9s running 2.2, or were you only running 9s with the 2.4+? Also, has anyone touched 150 yet? And with displacement pretty much tapped out--how much quicker and faster can these cars get? Is 8 seconds possible under current displacement and weight breaks?

i think if they lower the weight and keep the displacement the same, that you could possibly see low 9sec passes and possibly 8.9999.
