Default Pro all-motor cars displacement?

this is kind of an unusual question, but does anyone know who is running the smallest displacement pro all-motor car that is in the 9 second range, or even low 10? And who is running the largest competitive motor? I am trying to get an idea what is the minimum displacement to be competitive in these classes. Also, I know a few years ago the max. allowable displacement was around 2700-2800cc, does anyone know what is the max. allowable currently?

thanks. Do you know what the actual smallest displacement someone is running? Or the actual largest currently being ran?

max is 2.6l regarless of what motor ur running. As for the smallest i know Eric ran a 2.2l and i have been running a 2.3l and these are B motors. As far as largest i would have to guess that the top teams are at least running 2.5l could be wrong though. I'm not too sure about the toyotas. I have ran a 10.57 or 10.59 with a 2.0L .

Doesn't Bisi run 2.2 f22 (with altered bore and stroke I am presuming) at 9.80 140+?

We just ran 9.67 with our 2.46L this past weekend! SOHC rules.

We may have the record for the smallest displacemnt pro a/m engine: 1.53L, 10.77 et

So Bisi, were you ever in the 9s running 2.2, or were you only running 9s with the 2.4+? Also, has anyone touched 150 yet? And with displacement pretty much tapped out--how much quicker and faster can these cars get? Is 8 seconds possible under current displacement and weight breaks?

Just because you can't go bigger on displacement doesn't mean you can't go any faster.

Some sactions (IDRC) allows up to a 2.8L. So I am sure someone is close to that somewhere.

Well, how about my question--with the current rule structure--or even 2800cc--are 8 seconds possible?

9.67@ 145mph on Gas is damn good in my book.... Most of the other cars in that class are on alki and full tube chassis.....

i think if they lower the weight and keep the displacement the same, that you could possibly see low 9sec passes and possibly 8.9999.
