suddenly, once it started getting really cold, unitl my car warms up, it looks liek i have really high egt. like 600+ degrees celicius at idle. i didnt change anything int he setup. only thinkg i can think of is maybe its so cold, the unit is malfunctioning. would the tune have any part in this, even though nothing has changed?

 

well cold air is more dense, so you can cram more air in with less boost. this can cause you to run more lean and run a higher egt. I always turn boost down when its cold out because of this.

But in your situation try another unit, or test your gauge in a friends car. If the unit is ok id call the tuner. good luck

the a/f ratio is fine. i have a wideband. its usually in the 12-13s at idle when cold
