Default threw a rod

well my baby is dead dead DEAD!!!!!!!!! What did I do WRONG? motor only had about 4000 miles on it.I was runnin on stock rods and crank. rod bearings were new, wiesco pistons, stock valves and retainers, springs.also pushin 13psi. what happened? Friends have said the builder did something wrong, I dono. How can I keep this from happening again? Also where can I get a NEW block? I don't know what caused this yet until monday ,or tuesday when they break it open. My life sucks the big 1 right now.

over rev / mis-shift? boost creap? not sure what would have caused you to throw a rod. are you sure that's what happened? cant wait to see pics on this one sorry to hear the bad news though ...

yeah that is what happened. The hole is as big as my fist, which I'm 6'5" 270lbs. I've got a big fist, and no pics yet. Will have pics next week. I'm so screwed it's not funny.
