Hello,
You have to know that the bike I am selling is 100% working and great looking. It's in showroom condition, no scratches, no dents, accident-free, full service history, clear title .
I just moved to UK because my wife is from here and she wanted to be closer to her parents. To be honest with you...this was my brother bike but he is not…..anymore. I don't want to get rich by its selling, just want to give it to someone who will take good care. The bike is here with me.
Usually shipment takes maximum 7 days depending on your location and will be fully insured against damages, shipped in a crated container. Total price of the bike including all shipping costs and insurance all the way to your place is $2,900 USD.
Terms: No money first to me - i will receive money after you will receive the bike. The transaction will be made under eBay's buyer protection plan . I'm a serious seller and a fair trader and I prefer to deal only with a serious buyer. Anyway, I have to let you know that I want a fast deal so if you are really interested in buying it, please reply with the following information for the invoice:
-Your name :
-Your shipping address :
I will look for your email, so that we can move forward with this deal!
Best Wishes,
Ariel Gaines.

Total scam. You have a couple red flags there:
1. Overseas buyer
2. Weird excuse to justify the low price (dead brother's bike)
3. Weird seller name (obviously concocted by a scammer in a third-world country to sound authentic). Ariel is a Jewish name and to see it paired with an Anglo name like Gaines is odd, especially in this context.
4. Price too low.
Contact him. I bet ten bucks that the next step is for you to place money in a 'secure' third party destination like SafePay or some crap. To be collected by the seller upon delivery of a bike that does not exist.

I think he copied the info from a legit eBay sale. the bike was actually up for around $8500 in the real one, which is a sick steal
*edit*
found it, sold for $9100 ish, friggin steal

Verified by a reputable shop as being a real motorcycle too

I use Aprilia Forum for a reference on fixing the problem mine has. I haven't had time to fix the sprag clutch, but someone just went through the same procedure, so I'm picking that dudes brain
. As soon as I fix mine, it's off to craigslist..... It's still a neat bike, if I could afford to I'd keep it as a track bike, but I think there is a new car purchase on the horizon
