Default what should i use to bend pipes(anything cheap)

i wanna bend some pipes to build a roll cage but i dont want to go to a shop for the bends so i was wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to bend for cheap.Thanks in advance.

bend some condoit to the shape you need it then find someone with a bender to bend you those shapes..i did a whole tube frame car that way

weld end cap on pipe, fill with sand, pack it in tight, weld cap on other end, dent in caps to pack sand in tighter, bend

google sand bending

edit - doh, I forgot, don't do it for cage

What kind of tubing are you using?
I hope you are not using pipe...
Should be DOM, 1 3/4".

they had a thread last week about a pre-made weld together cage for pretty cheap as long as your chassis is supported. That's the route I would go.

Call up SW Racecars. They will bend you a main hoop for VERY short money, and it'll be stronger than anything you could do yourself on some hackjob DIY machine. Heck, they'll build you a full cage so long as you get them the dimensions they need. They are great people who I've dealt with a bunch. Don't trust your safety to a "cheap" solution.
