*read write up above for full explaination*
the guy who did this, did it on a EP, but i'm wondering if it'd be the same for us. basically using a spark plug non-fouler kit to move the o2 sensor away from the direct flow of the exhaust gases from the motor.
makes sense to me...anyone want to give it a try?

that will definitely work. thats no different than taking the second O2 sensor and zip-tying it somewhere outside of the test pipe. all you are doing is making it so no exhaust hits the second O2 sensor, tricking the ecu in to thinking the cat is working.
yes that will work. but if you dont have the tools or cant do it you should look into http://o2simulator.com/
i think a lot easier to deal with some wires

most threads i've read about o2 simulators say that it doesn't even work. this has got to be a lot cheaper than a o2 simulator anyways.

let us know how it goes!

I REALIZE it's not always the Honda way to DIY but: It's pretty easy to make a MIL eliminator for like... 3 bucks, I've done this for a few OBDII Accord's and it works fine. I started doing it after I bought my first 2G DSM years ago, this is the method they use to defeat it:

Obviously the wire colors are not valid for a Honda, but if you have a clue and a wiring diagram of the car it's easy to figure out.

i used the spark plug foulers, like the pictures showed, when installing my skunk 2 test pipe. when i first started the car up the CEL came on, so i said fu*k it, and about 2 months later the CEL just went off.
i used the spark plug non-foulers on my car for about a year with no problems. Took them out along with the secondary o2 after going obd1.

the sensor is still in the pipe, and if a Cali cop looks under you car and sees a test pipe instead of a cat having a sensor pluged in or not wouldn't matter

Another option would be too elimianate the o2 sensor by getting the optimal resistance code from either a dealer or online, if you are interested i could get it for you. im me. But then you could wire in that resistor, to send false, but good info to your ecu. this way you could get rid of the o2 sensor al together
