Default O2 Sensors

My check engine light came on recently in my RSX. Had the car scanned and was told that both O2 sensor codes came up. I replaced both sensors, but the CEL didn't go off. Any ideas?

are you running a stock header or an aftermarket? if its a race header you'll need to get an o2 sim.

In a lot of cases, the 02 sensor is only the messenger, so don't shoot it.

reason I said stupid is since somebody 'scanned' the system, I would have though that the ecu/battery would have been reset to get rid of the memory codes

correct but that was prior to replacing the o2 sensors, you also have to do it after you changed them out
