Default VictorX manifold or itb's?

ive heard that in some cases the victor x mani is compatible to itb's in ways of its peak power... opinions? it would be going on a built gsr motor, pushing about 210 hp to the wheels.. i am debating on going itb's in the spring, but then i heard about the victorX, so lemme hear some opinions from the all motor forum..

well exactly what are you wanting comparsions of?

210 isn't a huge # anymore with either of those or a few others I could see that.

Where do you want your power, what do you use the car for, how much do you want to spend are you willing to work a ton to get this on? If your not doing the work ready to shell out at a shop?

What kind of tuning are you planning on using ?

That's about as nice as an open ended question could be here.

well, its kind of a daily driver, and ill spend what it takes, i was thinking of going with omni's itbs in feb., right now im on hondata, and ive heard hondata is pretty good with itb's...

basically im looking for a comparison between more useable power.. mid range, and a lil more top end.. i track the car, but its driven around more than its on the track..

Did you have drivability problems with your OMNI ITB's? What did you tune them on?

If you are considering TWM's, go with a good manifold like the JG VictorX or IB Ported ITR IM, you will make more power and spend 1/3 the money for parts and tuning.

ITB's are a great addition if setup properly with the correct parts. I cannot speak first hand about the OMNI ITB's, but the only units that I would every consider running are Jenvey's. With numerous stack length configurations and a large catalog of spacers and plate sizing, you have a truly tunable ITB setup.
