built motor and want to upgrade manifold

Re: (dc2rtek)
Skunk2 = Blox. And yes, over the stock manifolld, it would. I'm partial to the AEBS, but I'm biased.
I've never used an Edelbrock, but some in here have.
BTW, are you going to be making power that high?

Thats what I've heard as well.
Also for FI cars.
I have an AEBS on my setup. Not sure if I like it or not.

yeah im running hondata s200 with jun III valvetrain which makes power until 9500, but i think im setting my limiter at 9200.

Jun III cams. Im running ITR pistons most likely so i dont know what my compression is going to be. does anyone recommend any sort of pistons that wont blow out my head gasket or motor.

Re: (dc2rtek)
stay with the stock manifold. i sound like a dead horse, but if you really want to be dissapointed and do something wrong, go with a Skunk2, AEBS, Blox, Edlebrock. Just marketing my friend, they kill cylinder filling where you need it the most.

Re: built motor and want to upgrade manifold (dc2rtek)
We're using a Type R manifold ported and reworked by Gude and it works great. We thought about going to a Victor manifold , but being only a 1.8 we were told not to. Our motor makes power to about 9300 rpm and the type R works fine. I would stick with that for now. Once you go up to a 2.0 or above with 13 plus compression , then you might want that Victor manifold.

Whitfield"s has a great manifold for your setup. I would call Chris and ask him about it.

I wouldn't run the edelbrock victor x, I'm running 12:5:1 CR, Jun 3 cams, Endyn Pistons, Eagle rods, Endyn Valvetrain and i'm revving to 9800 rpms and it killed me.
I'm debating if i should run the blox manifold or is there a difference in the skunk 2 pro series manifold..
