What are you going to be doing with the car? If this is a DD you will be fine with springs. I have coil overs on my car to adjust at the road course if I need to.

it also depends on what type of "coilovers"

lowering spring?

coil sleeves?

full coilovers?

full coilovers usually have a lot of adjustment. you can also custom order the springs to your specific spring rates too.

neuspeed springs have two off the shelf spring rates, race and street versions. non adjustable height. koni struts have adjustable dampening also.

if this is a street driven car, with no plans to hardcore roadrace, the spring/strut combo would be a decent more cost effective move. i mean, you're still buying quality parts too. not some ebay knock off.

please dont use the term "TRUE" coilovers.

theres nothing TRUE about them, nor conversely FALSE about anything else.

full coilover kit suffices. since it comes with shock and spring. its really a fully theaded shock body with spring kit.

GC is an adjustable spring kit.

I am partial to a Koni and Sleeve Coil over setup that is just my opinion.

im just trying to keep it a little more clear for the kids thinking the ebay sleeves are quality coilover setups. i know the english language, and understand what you are getting at.

i will change it to "full"

springs + good shocks/struts (in this case, the konis) will be perfect for you, and better than a cheap set of coilovers. they will most likely ride better too.

WOW, i really do need to edit the content now. THIS certainly isnt true anymore... i was referring to moton and JRZ and ground control advance design. not the omnipicskankd2club generic crap.
