Default ls crank into a gsr block

will a ls crank work in a gsr block? i have heard that by putting a ls crank in a gsr block its like ls/vtec. is this true? would you have to remove the oil squirters?

read the thread on b18 crankshafts...Its an equivalent as far as numbers go (using an ls crank and rods in a gsr bare block because they have the same deck height)...As far as procedure, Cannot elaborate on it because I have no experience with doing it..
