Default easiest BOV to swap in just for fun

right now i have the tial bov on my intercooler piping that has a welden on pipe with a lip that the tial BOV is attached to with the round clamp like thing, my question is, if any, is there a bov that i wont have to weld on anything or any ideas of a swappable BOV?

silly question i know, but i was just bored and didn't know where to start looking....

heres a picture:

if you already have a BOV why do you want to "swap just for fun"?

Butterfly as in flutter noise? That vacuum line you are using looks pretty small. Get the proper sized line from its own vacuum port and then you can hear what a Tial really sounds like.

Give it a vacuum line from a properly sized port on the intake manifold. Tials sound like a whip when they are installed correctly.

the tial needs its own vacuum source. also, what spring is in it. that oculd also be part of the problem.

you pick the spring based on what kind of vacuum your motor pulls at idle

It is properly sized to the intake manifold. It flutters but it sounds like a whip. The spring is based on what kind of vacuum my motor is pulling the -23 which is the -22 and -23 in/Hg -12 Psi (-24 in/Hg ) spring for the Tial BOV.

All i was curious about was what other BOV is compatable with what i have now which is a weld on pipe, with a flange similar to the Tial flangeor a simple way to 'makeshift' something to fit another BOV

You would need to buy another Tial mounting flange to Vband to the one on your pipe and weld an adapter to that for whatever other BOV you wanted to use. http://www.atpturbo.com has a modular flange system that lets you change pretty easily once welded to another Tial flange

yeah the reason you get getting the fluttering is because vacuum needs to be wider and not have that Y connector in it, also try and make as short as posiable
