where the buttons to change vents from floor to dash to defrostor etc. the buttons work and light up but it does not want to listen to me, the air just keeps coming out a little bit from all of them whats my problem? and when the car warms up the heat will work for about 10 seconds and then get cooler whats my problem there?

 

Theres a mechanical slider that channels the heat or air to a certain vent when u push the button for which vents u want to use, it could be stuck, but also a little bit of air will always come out the vents just cause that's what happens when ur moving a bit of air will always blow out the vents. Also, if ur heat's not working, check to make sure the heater fan is working, behind the dash board, I think there might be a fuse for it u could try checking. also check and make sure u got plenty of coolant.

 

ill check the slider your talking about but its def not working bc nothing comes out of the defroster and nothing changes at all when i press button to button..where is the slider located tho? and someone told me to check the blower motor is that different from the heater fan?
