Default Some Final Swap Difficulties.

I swapped my EK with a H22A back in September, and iv've been driving it for the past two months. Love it. Great power, 5th gear actually gets you somewhere at 65MPH. Handles great as well (I personally can't tell the differance).

I have the following final problems to fix:

-Reverse lights do not come on. Fuse is good, sensor is plugged in, and screwed in. Bulbs are good. Not a clue what else to do.

-Engine idles funny. While sitting at a stop light I have to depress the clutch slightly while the car is in gear with the brake on to make the engine idle at a constant. Its like it alternates from 500RPM to about 1000RPM. I was thinking this would be my alternator needing adjustment. Correct? If so, how should I adjust it?

-Some other random little things like the CV boots need to be re-sealed/re-packed, and the valve cover needs to be cut so it doesnt rub the strut tower. I know how to do these and im planning on it next weekend.

Any suggestions on these two problems?

Nothing from anyone? I just went out and checked everything...The alternator belt is pretty tight. Mayby it just needs to be replaced. I also need some info on the "Auto-tensioner" this motor has...My timing belt is pretty damn loose, im not sure if the theres anything I should do about that or if the tensioner tightens up the belt when it moves or what.

I have physically checked for leaks, but since I don't know EXACTLY where all the hoses go I cant be certian of it being hooked up right.

I make sure all the plugs on the IM were occupied, though.

I know the MAP sensor is right, along with the charcoal can and brake booster.

Does anyone have a diagram of this swap in a EK using the IAB/EGR crap?

Dunno on the reverse lights

Had the same issue with the idle after my swap. After numerous slight adjustments to the idle speed and mixture screws it went away. Sorry if thats kinda vague

Alright i'll see what I can get with that.

I was told by Rywire to test the reverse sensor to make sure its good. Thats my next step with the reverse lights not working.
