Default What's a good quiet stainless catback with a 2.5" dia?

I'm pretty new to the EG's and I just bought a 94 si hatch. I am planning on turboing it and I want to get an exhaust first. I know that 3" is the recommended dia for turbo but I think 2.5" will work for a sub 10lbs set up.

What cat back system would you recomend if I am interested in a understated appearance and a tame exhaust note? Keep in mind I am looking for a 2.5" stainless system.

Thanks, someday I'll stop asking newbie questions.

Matt

Go with the stock exhaust! When you want power, just dump out to the atmosphere with one of these cutouts:

Thanks for the replies guys. I am at work and I don't have the internet at my desk so it's nice to get the replies sent to my email. That's why I didn't search. I thought it was a mildly interesting question.

A coworker suggested the Mugen cat back. Nice sht. I don't mind spending the bucks to get what I want. I've heard the Thermal R+D is good but kinda loud. Is this true?

I just got an Apex WS. It's close on the diameter but the rear plate on the muffler is pretty shiney. If you are behind it, it shows. I'm thinking of spraying the back a flat black. Nice tone though, not loud at all.

Where can I get a cutout like that. I wouldn't want it to open to atmosphere but I'd love to get one just to limit my gases going thru my exhaust. I have a stock motor with a 2.5" exhaust and a limiter like that would keep things quiet when im not racing and give me some more low end torque and bottom end...
