ok i have a 94 integra ls everything is stock on it, well it starts and runs but dies right after you let go of starting it, all power is then lost, no dash lights, no windows ect, but if you turn the key back to the start position everything works fine and it starts again but right after you let go of the key everything dies again, so basically it only runs if you hold the key in the start position, i checked all the fuses on it, can anyone help,

 

check the main relay, sounds like ECU or massive wiring problem...better get out the multi-meter and get busy

 

i already check the main relay it tested out fine

 

What about the key switch itself ?

 

well i took all that apart to and it tested odd, like i was saying the inside of the car only seems to have power when its in the start position but once it goes back to the run it looses all power but the switch works fine, man i am really confused about this problem

 

got it fixed last night, it turned out to be the electrical part of the ignition switch in case anyone was wondering cost 47$ brand new from the dealer
