Default Needed!

I was driving hom the other day and heard my pass. side rear scraping. I went to a friends, jacked the car up, tired to rotate the rear wheel and it would hardly move.....i'm assuming my rear caliper is stuck because the pads were rubbing the rotor w/o ebrake up. also, the rear wheel was hot as hell! Post whatcha got! Thanks.

Happened to me. I found out it was the return spring for the ebrake cable. Whenever I pulled the ebrake cable up then release it, the caliper didn't fully disengage.

see if the piston will rotate back into the caliper assembly easily, you may also have a seized piston. Also, inspect the piston boot, make sure no dirt or any debris got into the cylinder.
