Default Teg Rear Caliper Rebuilding...

How easy is it to take t hem completely apart and lube up everything?? My rear caliper is sticky and my pads wear uneven.........I've done the front before and got new pad clips.....does the rear work the same??

The reason I ask is that I don't want to do something to my brakes that will make my car be down for a few days....thanks..

The rears are pretty easy. Similar to the fronts but smaller obviously. You need to remove a dust sheild, and thats kinda awkward, but apart from that it's pretty straght forward. Any high temp grease should be okay for reconditioning the pins.

Ya the boots pull right off. You may need a flathead to help a little (and releive the pressure after refilling them. The ebrake cable isn't in the way of anything, just make sure the ebrake isn't engaged when you do it. As faras reconditioning an ebrake cable if it's getting stuck or whatever, not sure about that other than hosing it down with some brake parts cleaner.

A little.. you'll lose some grease and gain some grit inside. If it's small I wouldn't worry about it, but if it looks like stuff could really get in there then get some new ones. If grit gets in it'll become sticky again (may why it got sticky in the first place)
