Default Clutch for 300whp DD?

I'm basicly done with my motor, except for the clutch. The problem I have is thus:

Its going to be my main car (95 EX) - daily driven to school/work (2 days are in *heavy* stop/start traffic). I shift rather slow, I just don't want an 'on/off' sort of clutch. I want a clutch that will last a while and not destroy the flywheel (looking at a chomoly ACT streetlight), but still hold power. Its also going to be roughly 250wTQ (up to 300wTQ if it lasts a year), since its a D16.

I'm really not sure if I want something like an ACT XTSS, or an Exedy 3-puck. I'd get a double-plate if funds were unlimited, but atm I only have enough cash in case something blows up. I'm hoping for the impossible, holding power/streetablility/longevity - what would fit that the best for under $400?

Puck clutches will chatter regardless of if they have sprung center. If you are driving daily then try to find a clutch that has a solid contact area instead of separate pucks. Twin disks are nice but they have a really harsh engagement.

Competition clutch has a kevlar sprung clutch look into that.

So what about the puck-style clutches wearing away the flywheel prematurely?

clutch selection should be determined by TQ not HP.

I would estimate you have ~200 TQ.

Get a CM Stage 3
