Hi, after school, my car wont start anymore ...

So i called my dad to boost the car. It does nothing ...

When i put the egnition to ON, i heard the bip bip bip and all the normal light in the dash, but once i try to crank, the doom light, dash and the clock light become almost death ... Once i release the key all the light return to normal ...

And the starter dont "crank" it just do nothing ...

So we decide to start it on compression ... worked really well ... made a little ride, stoped at my house, tryed to start it ... nothing ...

What do you think ... when my key is to ACC, all accesorie work well, but once i try to crank it look like it suck all the power ... even with the battery of my dad van ...

So we think the starter died ... How can I test it ?

And if it is, does an 92 prelude f22 starter is the same as mine ? because i can get the hole engine for like 150 dollars ...

My car is a 91 accord coupe (LX)

plus, you can see that all the light loose power when i turn the key ...

It will push start OK, but not with a jump?

I would check the battery cables at both ends. If those are clean and tight, the starter would be the next suspect. Or more likely, the starter solenoid.
