Power FC Tunning
I purchased this and Im wondering is it possible to tune a Forced Induction car with it. Some people said it would be very difficult to do this and it would take 10 plus hours some said just to buy datalogit . Im not sure if I want spend another 350 on a machine that is very difficult to tune. Right now Im willing to trade straight up for a s300 because Im kind of scared of this machine. What are the capabilities of this machine only on the commander ?

I can get them new for $750, doubt you're going to get more than $500 for a used one...
For what it's worth, you can tune a turbo car with it, and it's a pretty good system, but i'd take an s300 over it any day of the week. And you're going to have to have dataloggit to tune it, otherwise it'll take you forever to tune it through the commander.

the datalogit makes it significantly easier to work with.

Your info says that you are in L.A. You should give XS Engineering a call. They are in Orange County. They tune Honda's and a lot of different cars using the Power FC and they should have a base program for your set up, so tuning time shouldn't be that much. They used that unit to tune the Skyline they built for Street Tuner Challenge/Time Attack car (800+hp). Good Luck.

the power FC is pretty good but there isn't enough peaple who can tune it good. You could call XS but you'll pay alot and get an alright tune. I would give JoJo callos and call at Cure automotive. http://www.cureautomotive.com

So far I am very pleased with the PowerFC. It took about an hour set it up and get the car tuned...if you know what you are doing. Tuner had it setup and running like stock in about an hour. See setup link in sig for more info.
