Default b20 vtec or ls/vtec

How much would it cost to have this done? Is it any cheaper than a b16a2 swap? Thanks for your input in advance.

no way its cheaper it is hard to build a good ls/vtec because the ls block was never made to turn those RPM's. it can be done with a build block but it would not be cheaper then a b16a motor

a properly built lsvtec or b20vtec is going to cost a good bit more than a b16 swap

LS blocks and B20 blocks are the same asside from the displacment. Same material, same thickness.

In case anybody's wondering why I'm saying this is b/c sooner or later somebody's gonna post "LS/VTEC, because the B20 has thin cylinder walls" or some stupid tool remark like that....

To do it, or to do it correctly? Unfortunately the long stroke of the LS block was not designed for 8200rpms, so if you're going to do it, you need to make the block capable of not wanting to kill itself at those RPMs.

b20's have a mono-sleeve design different from other b blocks
