My foglights are buzzing (?)
I bought a used pair of JDM clear fog lights for my 96 prelude. all the wires and everything were accounted for. i bought a real JDM fog light button for my center console, and bought a new relay for the wiring. my friend who installed it did everything correct, but when we turn them on there is an electrical 'buzz' i believe. the buzzing is loud and annoying and the source appears to be coming from inside the cockpit underneath the console somewhere. i do not know if there is a wiring problem, or if the new relay is incompatible, or if the button is faulty. i'm too cheap to replace all the parts (as it cost me over 300 already). i've been assured the problem isn't the wiring, but i'm willing to pay some 'wiring' genius' to rewire the mess of 10-year old wires, but i don't know if that's the problem.
someone enlighten me. i don't want to admit i was i jipped by someone during the process.

i figured out it's the relay that's buzzing or 'ticking' at a lightning fast pace. i went to kragen. one guy told me there are many relays for things such as parking lights, battery, tail lights, as well as the foglights. there are three wires connecting the 'foglight button' to the fusebox under the dash. i also heard i could 'ground' one wire or something. not sure what that means. i need to find out--
1) what relay i need
2) how to get it
3) or an alternative method to the problem

dude rewire it yourself. go to home depot pick up a wire starter kit. grab you ~50 ft of 18 ga wire. and go to town. wiring is simple dont let it intimidate you.

i could rewire it myself, but i'm no expert, hence my yellow "noob" sign. if i got exact instructions i could try. i could get the equipment to do the job, and i could have someone assist me personally. btw, what are 'ga wires'?
could i have more specifics. like what wires to get as replacements? how to do so? let me know. i need all the 'free' help i can get. everyone wants to charge me to do it, and it seems simple enough for me and a friend to do if we knew exactly what wires and parts are needed.
