Im in the market for a used 92-95 Civic EX. I have found a few in the area with around 100-150k miles on them. Im just going to use it as my daily driver and dont plan on doing any mods. My question is how reliable are these? What kind of stuff should I look for and replace? Would this make a good head-ache free daily driver?
i mean i have an almost stock ( just some suspionsion mods and a cai) 93 ex with somin like 220,xxx on it and it still does me fine so one with 100000 to 150000 should be great as a dd
look for a bone stock one, preferably one owner (an old lady or something). Timing belt and water pump if it wasnt done before. Should be very reliable.
ha...i beat you. 250 mile stock dx still runs good with no problems going about 80 in freeway. but i did maintenance like timing belt, gaskets, cooling system, waterpump, alternator belt, oilchange, new plugs and wires and thermostat. so just do your maintenance and honda will do you good

ANything I should look for besides motor maintenance? Such as brakes, exhaust leaks, electrical things, etc? I found a 92 LX with 132,000 miles on it for $6k looks real clean as a Honda dealership is selling it.
