ITR vtec sound loss

Default ITR vtec sound loss

What could possibly be the cause of my ITR vtec sound loss... power is still there....I drove B18c1, b16a1 and they sound different from my B18c... it comes to my attention that ITR's have a unique vtec sound.... so could somebody please help me...

have you tried opening your windows, turning down your music, how about lowering your vtec to 3000rpm.

my buddy always asks me to set VTEC crossover somewhere he can feel it KICK IN.

I dont care if i am called a ricer or noob for saying this but wtf do you think people buy honda's for to hear vtec thats what sets them apart from other automakers thats why i bought my SI it has the best sounding vtec ive ever heard combined with a injen sri woot !

Most of you guys drive a type r from what i remember vtec on the r's was def loud not sure if as loud as the new SI but def close i could imagine a type r with a sick intake !

Do what I did and port and polish it. Or you can upgrade to an NSX soleniod it flows more VTEC fluid stock then any other D/B/K/H/F series.

Intake, who rides around with one of those? I drive it with just the open TB, so I can hear the Vtak even louder!!! People spend 6xxxxxmillion dollars on a Mugen intake, when they can do a lot better with the sound by not having an intake at all!!!

Honda tunes the ITR's VTEC with a special JDM tuning fork. Very rare, and very hard to come by.
