Torque specs on Eagle rods (upgraded bolts) D16
My engine just started knocking, and I'm in the process of taking things apart and making sure everything is kosher on the bottom end. I'm trying to find the torque specs for the Eagle rods with the upgraded rod bolts (I think they're 3/8"), or are the specs the same as I would find in my Haynes manual?
Engine is a D16Z6.

IIRC, b18b stock specs are something like 24ft/lbs, and just found 5/16" arp rod bolts are supposed to be at 28ft/lbs. I wish I had the specs, but I got mine for cheap, slightly used & w/o spec sheet.
In for the answer too, although you may want to check turbod16.com or d-series.org

ARP has a chart on their website for recommended bolt stretch. It's a lot more precise way of making sure you have the correct torque.</TD></TR></TABLE>
That's great info. I just found that out earlier today. Thanks!
