im installing a/c on my 93 hatchback. i have al the parts. however, just to test the electrical parts, fan/compressor, i connected all the hoses, an the compressor and the fan and all the wires in the right places. the only things i didnt do was but the belt/tensior on the compressor and havent installed the evaporator unit.

my question is, is the condensor fan suppose to work? or does it need the compressor connected?
