Default oil filter

I was just wondering if any oil filter would fit on to the h22a motor... like the s2000,rsx, tsx and more.... j/w?

why? if you are going to go and buy a filter just ask for the correct one. Or you could go to Hyundai and get one.

There have been some discussions about this in the past and I *think* the S2000 one fits.

Personally, I just use the Honda filters sold by the dealer (available online for under $5 each, including a new washer for each filter).

Who makes the Honda filter? I really don't know, but if the Honda dealers use it that's good enough for me.

For what it's worth, I also use Castrol GTX and change the oil / filter every 4,000 to 4,500 miles.

s2k filter is over kill.

the newer/smaller one are made by filtech in the USA.

the canadian filter are made by fram(they are cheaper and lower in quality)

the nippon filter is make in japan, i can't remember the source tho'.

I use the newer filter for my honda's, almost everything is fine when you are changing it at 3 k and you have a good running motor.
