Oil filter: which one to get?
So i've been using OEM Honda oil filter since I got the car 5 years ago.
But it seems the damn oil filter get's smaller and smaller everytime I buy a new one. I swear the last one I bought was barely the size of a soda can. The one I use on the 94 2.0L Golf is almost 4x bigger.
I was told by the dealer that all Hodna models use the same filter now. But that think looks really really small. Should I continue using the OEM filter or change to an aftermarket one?

Did a new search and found this:

Honda 15400-P0H-305 = US Filtech, no longer available
Honda 15400-PT7-005 = Canada Fram, no longer available
Honda 15400-PCX-004 = Japan S2000 filter
BTW, Honda's smaller filters are now being labeled as 'Honeywell', since Honeywell owns Fram. But I'm not sure whether Fram/Honeywell uses the cardboard end-caps & otherwise cheap construction when they're making filters for Honda? Until someone cuts one apart, I guess it's possible they make Honda filters better than the ones under their own label??
Honda 15400-PLM-A02 = Honeywell, new smaller size
</TD></TR></TABLE>
Guess I'll buy a S2000 filter. lol
