Default looking for a 97 accord TB for my intake manifold

Hi I plan to get my 97 accord ex intake manifold ported and polished( stock), but before I do that I would like to know which TB should I go with. Should I just get the stock TB ported and polished or go with a aftermarket brand like skunk2 etc. Ive heard acouple negative things about skunk2's TB's though. I know if I keep the stock and get it ported the biggest I can get it to is 64mm or a little bigger. I was looking for a TB more like 68mm-70mm. Many recommendations!

will your f23 intake manifold bolt up to my f22b1 head. actually will your TB match up to my f22b1 intake manifold and how big is the f23 TB stock. I dont really need a intake manifold considering I already bought one. also how much for just the TB.

If you can do 40 shipped I will consider purchasing it from you. Are you absoluty sure a f23 TB will bolt up to my IM w/ no additional modifications.

I knew skunk2 made TBs for my accord, but I havent heard much feedback from them. Are they worth the money or should I just get a stock TB such as a f22 or F23( if fits) and just port and polish it. wont big as big as the skunk2's but it should be just as effective, right?

if you buy a skunk2 TB, it comes factory with 69mm ...... and you will pay some 200 to 300 for it. Now... you could..... get the OEM TB bored/polished by "maxbore" for 100 dolllaah.... sounds like a better deal to me!

my friend with a ls vtec rex n my friend with a cr-vtec teg both have 70 mm skunk2 TBs n they seem to work well, BUT they were a very pretty penny. if you can find a cheaper way of gettin 70 mm I say go with that.

[edit] also with the thTB being so big... their intake manifold (skunk2's intake manifold) isnt quite big enough so in order to use this TB with the intake mani you have to port the opening a bit. otherwise it will keep the TB from opening much and I do mean it wont open very much at all unless you modify the intake manifold.

i agreed, in order to use a bigger TB, the stock intake manifold has to be modified, in sense, make the intake manifold bigger, can be done at any machine shops.
