Default 1994 Integra rebuilt b18c Cut off and started knocking HELP!!!???

Ijust recently bought a 1994 integra with a rebuilt b18c.(4000) miles on motor) It had been running fine and had hella power for a month. I noticed that over a few weeks it started to lose power. Then one day I was on the freeway doing about 90 going to work, and it started to knock loudly. When I got off, and slowed to turn, I hit the gas and it wouldnt move for about 2 or 3 seconds. It finally kicked in but cut off and would'nt crank. I let it sit overnight and tried to crank it and it was turning over slow, but eventually crunk. STILL KNOCKING!!!! This car was turboed, but i havent got around to putting it back on yet. I thought the problem could be a rod, but I have no idea.....What could this be?????

Yep same thing happend to me, spun a rod bearing. Drain the oil and you will see copper metal shavings.

If you plan on saving that crankshaft and or your block, you wont start it anymore.

It will knock "for sure" once the heart stops pumping.
RIP little engine.
Time for a good old tear down i say...
Hopefully there are some re-useable parts.

someone might have put it together with oversize bearings in it. or oil pump failure. or simply an idiot torquing the engine together.
