Hey everyone. I have a '92 Integra RS. It doesn't seem to be running as well as it should be. I drove two of my firends integras which are earlier years and have 10 less base horsepower , they seem to accelerate better than mine. The only mods I have are a short ram intake, and a 2.5" Cat-Back. It's not the plugs or wires eiether because they were replaced before I got the car a month ago. So if anyone has any ideas pleae help. thanks.

is that the only thing you think it might be?

 

2.5" exhaust seems a little big. If so that would hurt your powerband alot. Other than than just the normal tune up stuff, checking the timing and making sure the intake and injectors are clean. Also the valves are adjusted properly.

 

2.5" is fine, actually. i don't think that would be the cause of your car's running poorly (if it is in fact running poorly). time for a tune-up... valve adjustment, cap, rotor, plugs, etc...

 

Well it seemed to me that was running fine , then I drove my friend's cars and they were faster , when mine should be faster according to Acura specs. So I guess I will see about a tune up. Thanks.
