Default ARP Headstud question (lsvtec)

ight will the b18a arp headstuds work on an lsvtec? if not why not?

no...they are not long enough...

u need gsr headstuds...no matter if u use a gsr or b16 head on ur block..

u can use ls timing belt if u use all ls water and oil pump

but u need gsr timing belt if u use a vtec water or oil pump...

personally i use all the ls stuff as i have both in the garage just because it works fine and i rev to 8600 all day..

THERE IS NO DIFERENCE IN TYPE R AND LS OIL PUMPS

True if the LS is a 96 or newer model. My B18A has a different OEM oil pump and is more expensive than the ITR model.

yea i was told all the b series 96+ all got the same oil pump...
