I just thought it was intersting how everyone is making a big deal about Hondata, and how expensive it is and this guy got 2 whp and lost torque.

Only a clueless doofus with so little engine modification would invest in a stand-alone unit.

did you read what sakai had to say?

only thing the standalone would be good for :
insane cams/gigantic injectors/individual throttle bodies/turbo

I was always under that impression when it came to Hondata that its for tuning fairly wild setups I would never consider it for bolt ons. I wonder where people get these ideas. What was it supposed to make power out of without insane cams/gigantic injectors/individual throttle bodies/turbo? He should have done some more research.

or someone who will be running a turbo setup and wanted to buy something that will remain usefull......and BTW....it stretched my power band out better and the car can now be driven in the city at low RPMS with out feeling SLOW........

next week it will be set to retard timing under a large load this will definatly increase the WHP level.......

on the plus side ive been getting way more HP from my nos that im supposed to and i have a fealing that this is because the car is running super efficiently with lots of fuel....
