Cabin Vibration @ 1600rpm
Man i got a really strange cabin vibration at 1600rpm..
Did it with my J's Racing Manifold..
Fitted OEM 4-2 and Spoon 2-1 Downpipe and the vibration went away!?
So i brought a JDM OEM 4-1 manifold and it does it again at 1600rpm?
So im totally stumped now?
Car has Spoon Engine Mounts, but surely these cant do it?
Anyone had something similar before? Theres no noise, just a cabin vibration

Yep, stiff engine mounts = vibration. But, why do you care about anything that happens at 1600rpm? You should be revving higher than that, like, all the time.
Its all well and good saying that, and i agree with you, but i do a lot of town/traffic driving, and i dont drive like that when theres traffic in front of me..
Spoon mounts are meant to be fine, and not be a problem for vibration etc? Or has anyone experienced otherwise?
Its just strange that it does it with and without different manifolds
Any more idea's?

Well, if changing manifolds changes the sound, then most likely that sound is originating somewhere in that system. Either with how the exhaust connects to it, or how it's supported at the back of the block (IF it's supported there), etc.
