SPOON OR HASPORT MOTOR MOUNTS
i went on inlinefour.com looking for motor mounts and ive seen spoon motor mounts and they are about 20 bucks cheaper than hasport.
i know that everyone uses hasport but are the spoon motor mounts just as good?

Re: SPOON OR HASPORT MOTOR MOUNTS (Harryflores)
Well the spoon motor mounts are OEM JDM Honda Mounts. The Hasport are solid mounts. They are 2 totally different types of mounts. The difference between the USDM and the JDM is the hardness has been increased in the rubber.
They will feel totally different. The spoon ones are just like stock so if you are driving a torque motor and don't mind the vibration go with the Hasport. If you are driving a stock motor stay with stock mounts.
On my GSR I changed to the Hasport mounts when I changed the top mounts there was no real vibration transfer, a week later I put in the rear mount and hated the vibration that it caused.

i thought the mounts are suppose to stop the vibration.

no, there stiff motor motor mounts. a motor will always vibrate, thus stiffer motor mount WILL NOT lessen vibrations

Spoon motor mounts are not worth the money. Get the hasport top mounts and keep you rear mount oem. It is a much better option than going with the spoon overpriced stuff.
