I have 99 civic ex with Tein S Tech lower springs, I am currently using the stock struts, and I want to get some decent ones to not make the ride as soft... Which ones should I purchase and any other comments are helpful?

 

What is your budget? what will the car used for? (track vs daily grind) Do you have experience with higher spring rates? How low do you want to be?

Well It will be a daily driver... and I have had a 95 ex with a three inch drop with stiffer ride... but that was adj. coilovers the drop now is aprox. 2 inch... I want to find a pretty cheap set of struts.

 

im also thinking of the same setup with tiens springs about 2.0 drop. i've been reading all the suspension info and heard that tiens springs with kyb adjustable / koni yellows / tokiko blues would work just fine as long as its not slammed like 3.0 inches. the ride would be comfortable with little skippdy bumps but over all very nice and durable. (CORRECT ME IF IM WRONG GUYS)..

 

anybody got any in put on this??
