Opinions on Eibach Sportlines??
OK guys I need ur suggestions..
I have a 99 civic ex coupe and i currently have itr springs however im getting rid of them for some eibach sportlines. I want to maintain a moderately comfortable ride with a noticable drop. I have done some research and sportlines spring rates are good enough to provide this. or am I wrong?
How are your experiences with sportlines..
Thanks in advance

have sportlines on my GSR sedan.
look great.
ride great.
wish the rear was a bit higher spring rate though.
when I had to get springs for my second kaaaah, an EG, I bought Ground Controls because the sportlines are just too soft for me.

Hey owen is the ride too soft in the rear??
What is the disadvantage of it being too soft? You cant handle the corners that well...?
anyway thanks for the input
I think Sportlines are gonna be the ones i get though...

i just installed the sportlines about a month ago and they're great...the ride was a lil' bumpy when i first put them on but now it rides perdy smooth...i'm not sure about which shocks to match them up with yet, but if you or anyone finds a nice partner for the sportlines let me know...
Sportlines w/Koni Yellow's... you will NEVER regret it. Save your money and do it once. Don't settle for less than you are capable of getting, especially since you said you want them. The ride is fabulous. I got raped buying mine b/c I was in a rush. Spent about $660 with shipping. I've seen them go for $489 plus shipping a few times, you just have to look.
Yeah but arent Koni yellow a bit expensive for just daily driving..which is what i will most likely be doing?
I was considering just Tokico blues..

u should really look into adjustables.....if your also going to race
a stiff suspension helps alot.....on SHIFTS, Launches, and handling

Koni Yellows are expensive for daily driving, but they are adjustable so you can set them for the best combo of ride/performance. I have them with Integra Pro-Kit on my Civic and love the setup. Rides real smooth and handles great.
Koni Yellows may be slightly more expensive, but they are worth it. I have had quite a few different suspension combos on my car, and the Konis have rode the best.
i have a 94 coupe with tokico 5 ways and sportlines...it rides great and handles good....but i like them better since i did the shocks....i will only buy sportlines
Im only trying to be careful about how much money i spend..
Koni yellow are expensive...so if i dont need them what is the point??
Any of yall have pics of 99civc with Sportlines? thanks

What is the disadvantage of it being too soft? TAIL IS HAPPY, LIFTS AND DROPS WAY TOO MUCH, NOT AS SOLID A FEELING AS I HOPED FOR IN A SPORT TYPE SPRING.
You cant handle the corners that well...? CORRECT. EVEN UPGRADING TO ITR SHOCKS ALL AROUND MADE A DIFFERENCE, BUT COMPARED TO MY EG WITH KONI YELLOWS AND GC COILOVERS, THE SPORTLINES ARE WUSSY BASED ON THE REAR SPRING RATES AND I DONT LIKE THEM FOR THAT REASON. I DRIVE REALLY HARD AND ALWAYS TRY TO BRAKE VERY, VERY, VERY HARD -WHICH CAN HAVE MAJOR EFFECTS ON THE REAR END OF THE CAR.
-sorry to use caps, I am not shouting, just separating my answer from the question
The Eibach Sportlines are awesome springs. They are progressive, so they seem soft at first. I've regretted pairing them with Tokico HP shocks, though. The car wallops too much over bumps and seems to float at high speeds. I'm planning on getting Bilsteins after I get rid of the Tokicos. I don't race the car and I've heard that the Bilsteins can handle the Sportlines pretty well.
how about H&R Sport (Integra rate) springs? These springs are great too. I am not sure about the spring rates compared to Eibach Sportlines though. Does anyone have the spring rates on the H&R? Also which one would be better spring?
