blew the air bags, need help with replacement...

Default blew the air bags, need help with replacement...

just like it says. i don't know where to start. point me in the rite direction. i've searched but there is no write-up of how to replace the airbags and so fourth. thanks.

they plug in, so unplug them, unbolt them from the mounting points, plug the new ones in. Check the clock spring on the steering wheel for damage, airbags get hot when they deploy, so look at the plugs for them being melted. BTW what year is the car??

the car is a 97 ek hatch...what else do i have to replace...i heard the srs module too...is that rite...do you know any write-up around that you have once came upon...let me know...thanks...

im not too sure on any write ups on airbags, but i dont think you have to replace the airbag module
