Default SHORT RAM INTAKE QUESTION

DUMB QUESTION BUT I JUST INSTALLED A SHORT RAM INTAKE ON MY CAR AND ITS FUCKIEN RAINNING AND I DIDNT ADD A BYPASS ON IT WOULDS THE INTAKE SUCK WATER INTO MY ENGINE

Aight, in all seriousness, you have absolutely nothing to worry about w/ a short ram intake...it's all those long azz ones in the fender u g2 worry about.

only cold air intakes that reach behind the bumper needs such a valve, which in most cases is not that effective...You're good to go, just use common sense and dont drive in a foot of water.

Just curious has anyone seen the $30 APC short-ram intake from Wal-Mart? Got one for my car to replace my Injen CAI for the winter. Damn thing works well and my friends were jockin my intake now they're getting them too.

Why are you swapping out intakes for different seasons?

OP: You're good to go. You don't need a bypass valve and in all honesty, the only time a bypass valve works like it is designed to is when your intake filter is completely submerged.

i remember a time everyone had one of these we were puttin them on all types of cars and truck.
