hello i just wanna help ppl that are having problems taking that little 4 head screw on the rotor heres a little things i did
I would try hittin the head of the screw with a soft drift punch to loosen it up and then try unskrewing it with the tools that you've shown, or go rent and impact driver from your parts store(make sure it't turn the ccw direction). both methods sould work.

this was the best way ever it dont strip the screw just put in turn and boom its loose but be sure to use a flat style 4 head

Impact driver FTW! Just make sure you use the correct head or else you'll strip the bolt.

I usually take advantage of the two ten mm threaded holes on each side of the rotor. I simply put a 10mm bolt in and give the rotor some pressure and then remove. Then simply undo the screw and it comes out easily. Of course I am from So Cali so we don't have a lot of bad weather and a lot of rain. So it may not work if its completely rusted

I broke a bit using an impact tool. I ended up having to drill the center of the screw out and it came right out. VA is not kind with the weather...hot/cold/ice/snow we get it all here

Okay yeah, for the distributor rotor screw, I have used that same solution (phillips bit and a 1/4" socket). Do NOT use an impact driver on the distributor rotor.
For the brake rotor screws, impact driver is the best. And why would you rent one?? Buy one for $11 from AutoZone and then you'll have it in the future whenever you need to remove your brake rotors. I've used mine many times and think how awesome that tool is every time I have to use it (because I've drilled out the screws before and it sucks doing that).
